Next Generation Talent

Next Generation Talent

Each year, CCPPP awards up to 12 talented post-secondary students from across Canada the opportunity to attend its Annual Conference in Toronto, happening in 2024 on November 4 & 5. This is the place for you to find contacts & investigate career opportunities.

Next Generation Talent student delegates participate in a pre-conference orientation session and attend keynote speeches and provocative panel discussions on challenges and opportunities in the field of P3s from notable leaders. Conference ticket and on-site meals are covered by the Council for you to attend.

Mark Bain P3 Scholarship

This $5,000 annual scholarship is open to final year undergraduate and post-graduate students enrolled in business, engineering, law or other relevant discipline at a Canadian university.

I'm deeply honoured to have the Council name a scholarship after me. Supporting our next generation of leaders is incredibly important for Canada to continue its innovative approach to infrastructure, ensuring our communities have the very best infrastructure assets and services available to them for decades to come.
Mark Bain, Partner, Torys LLP, and former chair, CCPPP

Known as a soft-spoken, diplomatic, meticulous and collaborative leader at the table, and an effective negotiator, Bain is consistently named one of the top lawyers in his field with an incredibly deep knowledge of the ‘made in Canada’ P3 model and the intricacies of project agreements. Over the past 30 years, he has acted on more than 80 major P3 transactions. In 2022, he stepped down as chair of the Council's board of directors.
