In partnership with the Calgary Infrastructure Professionals Association (CIPA), we're hosting a breakfast networking event on Tuesday, December 3 featuring presentations on Alberta’s evolving infrastructure needs and a look at what Albertans had to say about infrastructure in recent polling conducted by Abacus Data on behalf of CCPPP.
Our speakers include:
- Kevin Pringle, Executive Director, Strategic Partnerships & Learning Facilities, Government of Alberta, who will provide insights into the province’s plans to deal with the rapidly expanding population and its ambitious school construction program. The School Construction Accelerator Program aims to deliver approximately 200,000 new and modernized classroom spaces by 2031-32.
- Lisa Mitchell, CCPPP's President and CEO, will expand on recent exclusive polling data shared with delegates at P3 2024, Canada's Infrastructure Conference, probing what Canadians think of the state of the country's infrastructure and their preferences on government and the private sector working together to design, deliver, operate and maintain these critical assets. Lisa will also drill down into more specific Alberta data arising from this nationwide poll.
