A ground-breaking in spring 2025 officially kicked off the start of a new five-storey student residence at Lambton College, located in Sarnia, Ont. The residence, which is expected to open in September 2027, is being developed via a P3 with Tilbury Properties Corporation and Fengate Asset Management, who will design, construct, finance, operate and maintain the residence.
This is the largest capital project undertaken by Lambton College to date in its history. The residence will contain a mix of hybrid and apartment-style suites for 311 students, including kitchen facilities, with communal spaces, lounges, quiet study spaces and outdoor patio space.
Fengate is managing the investment on behalf of the Fengate Infrastructure Yield Fund and its affiliated entities, including an investment by LiUNA’s Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada.
