CCPPP announces 2025-2026 board slate, details board review

TORONTO (October 29, 2025) — The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships is pleased to announce its 2025-2026 Board of Directors.

The 23-person volunteer Board was elected by member organizations at the Council’s Annual General Meeting and first meeting of the new board on October 29. In addition, the Board welcomed Fasken Partner Ella Plotkin as its new Vice Chair and McCarthy Tétrault Partner Maxine Ethier as its new Corporate Secretary.

“We have an incredible Board with a group of directors who are deeply connected to the industry — I am grateful for their continuing engagement and collaboration to resolve challenges and explore opportunities for evolution and growth in the sector,” said Johanne Mullen, CCPPP’s Chair and Partner, PwC.

“To keep pace with the evolution of the Council’s members and the market, the Board has decided — in the spirit of good governance — to work with an independent advisor to assess its alignment with the mission and needs of the Council.”

This governance review, the first conducted by the Board in its 32-year history, will start in the coming weeks. It will examine board composition and size and investigate new ways for non-board members to get involved in specific initiatives. To assist with the board review and transition for the next chair, the Board also voted earlier this year to extend Mullen’s three-year term as Chair until next fall.
