Welcome to P3 Quarterly, CCPPP's member newsletter.* This newsletter is an important tool for us to ensure openness and transparency about the Council’s activities.

2022 marks a new era for the Council. We are building on its almost 30-year strong foundation by investigating new opportunities to support the industry and in building a coalition of members interested in shaping the future of the organization and the sector. We are listening and want to engage in new and meaningful ways with you.

To support this, the Board of Directors recently approved the Council’s new 2022-25 Strategic Plan and the 2022-23 Business Plan, setting out the direction of the Council and updating and refining its vision and mission to better reflect the current pipeline and emerging opportunities.

Infrastructure spending is at an all-time high and both governments across the country and the private sector are working on how best to partner together to meet the demand as well ambitious new targets.

I believe P3s and the Council can play a strong role in Canada’s next wave of infrastructure projects. Over the coming months, the Council will increase its activities to enable our members to gather together to discuss pressing issues and deepen our collective understanding of P3s, as well as to share lessons learned and the latest innovative approaches.

CCPPP’s membership is unique in that it spans the whole life cycle of an asset and represents both the public and private sectors. That is a lot of experience and expertise spanning across so many different types of projects that the Council has to draw upon. I look forward to what we can accomplish, together.
