Mexico's National Infrastructure Program (2014-2018) includes an investment of US$594 billion, with 37% of the projects expected to be procured as public-private partnerships.
The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships in collaboration with The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) of Global Affairs Canada, Export Development Canada (EDC), and the Government of Ontario (Mexico Office) provided this webinar to hear Mr. Gamas discuss the pipeline of infrastructure projects that are expected to launch across Mexico over the next 12-24 months in the areas of:
transportation (highways, ports, Mexico City's new airport)
- energy (oil, transmission, power generation)
Along with questions for Mr. Gamas, participants had the opportunity to submit queries to representatives from TCS, EDC and the Government of Ontario, who detailed the support available to Canadian companies interested in exploring this growing market.
