Public-Private Partnership Programme (4ps) - www.4ps.gov.uk

  • The Programme is governed by the local authority associations in the UK, with a mandate to increase investment in local authority services through PFI and other PPP. The website includes an excellent list of guidance, case studies and project lists on local PPP over the past six years in the UK.

  • The PPP section of the HM Treasury site contains official policy information regarding the PFI initiative, standardised contracts and statistics for the PFI initiative.

  • The National Audit Office conducts comprehensive audits of all central government activities, including the Private Finance Initiative (PFI).

  • This government agency is responsible for identifying areas requiring infrastructure investment, funding them through a central source and advising on delivery methods, including PPPs. The website contains standard contracts for PFI projects in Northern Ireland (SoPCNI version 3).

  • This independent company is wholly owned by the UK Department of Health and was formed to deliver the Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) Initiative, including public-private partnerships. The site includes case studies, reports and practice guidelines on implementing a variety of healthcare models.
